The Death of Humanity
Richard Weikart will discuss the apologetics arguments that he uses—both explicitly and implicitly—in the book he is currently writing, The Death of Humanity: Are You a Cosmic Accident. These are mainly intuitionist arguments that assume that we as humans understand intuitively that our lives have purpose, meaning, value, and moral significance. After laying out his position, he will solicit feedback from the audience to help hone his arguments and improve his book in progress.
